János 8:1 But Jesus went to the Mountain of Olives.
János 8:1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
János 8:1 Jézus pedig elméne az Olajfák hegyére.
János 8:2 And early in the morning he came again into the Temple and all the people came to him and he was seated teaching them.
János 8:2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
  János 8:3 Now the scribes and Pharisees came, with a woman who had been taken in the act of sinning against the married relation;
János 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
János 8:4 And putting her forward, they said to him, Master, this woman has been taken in the very act of sinning against the married relation.
János 8:4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
János 8:5 Now in the law Moses gave directions that such women were to be stoned; what do you say about it?
János 8:5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
János 8:6 They said this, testing him, so that they might have something against him. But Jesus, with his head bent down, made letters on the floor with his finger.
János 8:6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
János 8:7 But when they went on with their questions, he got up and said to them, Let him among you who is without sin be the first to send a stone at her.
János 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
János 8:8 And again, with bent head, he made letters on the floor.
János 8:8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
János 8:8 És újra lehajolván, írt vala a földre.
János 8:9 And when his words came to their ears, they went out one by one, starting with the oldest even to the last, because they were conscious of what was in their hearts: and Jesus was there by himself with the woman before him.
János 8:9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
János 8:10 Then Jesus got up, and seeing nobody but the woman, he said to her, Where are the men who said things against you? did no one give a decision against you?
János 8:10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
János 8:11 And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, And I do not give a decision against you: go, and never do wrong again.
János 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
János 8:12 Then again Jesus said to them, I am the light of the world; he who comes with me will not be walking in the dark but will have the light of life.
János 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
János 8:12 Ismét szóla azért hozzájok Jézus, mondván: Én vagyok a világ világossága: a ki engem követ, nem járhat a sötétségben, hanem övé lesz az életnek világossága.
János 8:13 So the Pharisees said to him, The witness you give is about yourself: your witness is not true.
János 8:13 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
János 8:13 Mondának azért néki a farizeusok: Te magadról teszel bizonyságot; a te bizonyságtételed nem igaz.
János 8:14 Jesus said in answer, Even if I give witness about myself, my witness is true, because I have knowledge of where I came from and where I am going; but you have no knowledge of where I come from or of where I am going.
János 8:14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
János 8:15 You are judging from what you see; I am judging no man.
János 8:15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
János 8:16 Even if I am judging, my decision is right, because I am not by myself -- with me is the Father who sent me.
János 8:16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
János 8:17 Even in your law it is said that the witness of two men is true.
János 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
János 8:18 I give witness about myself and the Father who sent me gives witness about me.
János 8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
János 8:19 Then they said to him, Where is your Father? Jesus said in answer, You have no knowledge of me or of my Father: if you had knowledge of me you would have knowledge of my Father.
János 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
János 8:20 Jesus said these words in the place where the offerings were stored, while he was teaching in the Temple: but no man took him because his time was still to come.
János 8:20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
János 8:21 Then he said to them again, I am going away and you will be looking for me, but death will overtake you in your sins. It is not possible for you to come where I am going.
János 8:21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
János 8:22 So the Jews said, Will he take his life? Is that why he says, Where I go it is not possible for you to come?
János 8:22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
János 8:23 And he said to them, You are of the earth; I am from heaven: you are of this world; I am not of this world.
János 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
János 8:23 És monda nékik: Ti innét alól valók vagytok, én önnét felül való vagyok; ti e világból valók vagytok, én nem vagyok e világból való.
János 8:24 For this reason I said to you that death will overtake you in your sins: for if you have not faith that I am he, death will come to you while you are in your sins.
János 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
János 8:25 Then they said to him, Who are you? Jesus said, What I said to you from the first.
János 8:25 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
János 8:25 Mondának azért néki: Ki vagy te? És monda nékik Jézus: A mit eleitől fogva mondok is néktek.
János 8:26 I have much to say about you and against you: but he who sent me is true and what he has said to me I say to the world.
János 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
János 8:27 They did not see that his words were about the Father.
János 8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
János 8:28 So Jesus said, When the Son of man has been lifted up by you, then it will be clear to you who I am, and that I do nothing of myself, but say as the Father gave me teaching.
János 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
János 8:29 He who sent me is with me; he has not gone from me, because at all times I do the things which are pleasing to him.
János 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
János 8:30 When he said this a number came to have faith in him.
János 8:30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
János 8:30 A mikor ezeket mondá, sokan hivének ő benne.
  János 8:31 Then Jesus said to the Jews who had faith in him, If you keep my word, then you are truly my disciples;
  János 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
  János 8:31 Monda azért Jézus a benne hívő zsidóknak: Ha ti megmaradtok az én beszédemben, bizonynyal az én tanítványaim vagytok;
János 8:32 And you will have knowledge of what is true, and that will make you free.
János 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
János 8:33 They said to him in answer, We are Abraham's seed and have never been any man's servant: why do you say, You will become free?
János 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
János 8:34 And this was the answer Jesus gave them: Truly I say to you, Everyone who does evil is the servant of sin.
János 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
János 8:34 Felele nékik Jézus: Bizony, bizony mondom néktek, hogy mindaz, a ki bűnt cselekszik, szolgája a bűnnek.
János 8:35 Now the servant does not go on living in the house for ever, but the son does.
János 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
János 8:35 A szolga pedig nem marad mindörökké a házban: a Fiú marad ott mindörökké.
János 8:36 If then the son makes you free, you will be truly free.
János 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
János 8:36 Azért ha a Fiú megszabadít titeket, valósággal szabadok lesztek.
János 8:37 I am conscious that you are Abraham's seed; but you have a desire to put me to death because my word has no place in you.
János 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
János 8:38 I say the things which I have seen in my Father's house: and you do the things which come to you from your father's house.
János 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
János 8:38 Én azt beszélem, a mit az én Atyámnál láttam; ti is azt cselekszitek azért, a mit a ti atyátoknál láttatok.
János 8:39 In answer they said to him, Our father is Abraham. Jesus said to them, If you were Abraham's children you would do what Abraham did.
János 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
János 8:39 Felelének és mondának néki: A mi atyánk Ábrahám. Monda nékik Jézus: Ha Ábrahám gyermekei volnátok, az Ábrahám dolgait cselekednétek.
János 8:40 But now you have a desire to put me to death, a man who has said to you what is true, as I had it from God: Abraham did not do that.
János 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
János 8:41 You are doing the works of your father. They said to him, We are true sons of Abraham; we have one Father, who is God.
János 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
János 8:41 Ti a ti atyátok dolgait cselekszitek.
János 8:42 Jesus said to them, If God was your Father you would have love for me, because it was from God I came and am here. I did not come of myself, but he sent me.
János 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
János 8:43 Why are my words not clear to you? It is because your ears are shut to my teaching.
János 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
János 8:43 Miért nem értitek az én beszédemet? Mert nem hallgatjátok az én szómat.
János 8:44 You are the children of your father the Evil One and it is your pleasure to do his desires. From the first he was a taker of life; and he did not go in the true way because there is no true thing in him. When he says what is false, it is natural to him, for he is false and the father of what is false.
János 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
János 8:45 But because I say what is true, you have no belief in me.
János 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
János 8:46 Which of you is able truly to say that I am a sinner? If I say what is true, why have you no belief in me?
János 8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
János 8:47 He who is a child of God gives ear to the words of God: your ears are not open to them because you are not from God.
János 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
János 8:48 The Jews said to him in answer, Are we not right in saying that you are of Samaria and have an evil spirit?
János 8:48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
János 8:49 And this was the answer of Jesus: I have not an evil spirit; but I give honour to my Father and you do not give honour to me.
János 8:49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
János 8:49 Felele Jézus: Nincs én bennem ördög; hanem tisztelem az én Atyámat, és ti gyaláztok engem.
János 8:50 I, however, am not in search of glory for myself: there is One who is searching for it and he is judge.
János 8:50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
János 8:51 Truly I say to you, If a man keeps my word he will never see death.
János 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
János 8:52 The Jews said to him, Now we are certain that you have an evil spirit. Abraham is dead, and the prophets are dead; and you say, If a man keeps my word he will never see death.
János 8:52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
János 8:53 Are you greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? and the prophets are dead: who do you say that you are?
János 8:53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
A próféták is meghaltak: kinek állítod te magadat?
János 8:54 Jesus said in answer, If I take glory for myself, my glory is nothing: it is my Father who gives me glory, of whom you say that he is your God.
János 8:54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
János 8:55 You have no knowledge of him, but I have knowledge of him; and if I said I have no knowledge of him I would be talking falsely like you: but I have full knowledge of him, and I keep his word.
János 8:55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
János 8:56 Your father Abraham was full of joy at the hope of seeing my day: he saw it and was glad.
János 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
János 8:57 Then the Jews said to him, You are not fifty years old; have you seen Abraham?
János 8:57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
János 8:58 Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, Before Abraham came into being, I am.
János 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
János 8:58 Monda nékik Jézus: Bizony, bizony mondom néktek: Mielőtt Ábrahám lett, én vagyok.
János 8:59 So they took up stones to send at him: but Jesus got secretly out of their way and went out of the Temple.
János 8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
