János 7:1 After this, Jesus went from place to place in Galilee. He did not go about in Judaea, because the Jews were looking for a chance to put him to death.
János 7:1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
János 7:2 But the feast of the Jews, the feast of tents, was near.
János 7:2 Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.
János 7:2 Közel vala pedig a zsidók ünnepe, a sátoros ünnep.
János 7:3 So his brothers said to him, Go away from here into Judaea so that your disciples may see the works which you do.
János 7:3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.
János 7:4 Because no man does things secretly if he has a desire that men may have knowledge of him. If you do these things, let yourself be seen by all men.
János 7:4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.
János 7:5 For even his brothers had no belief in him.
János 7:5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.
János 7:5 Mert az ő atyjafiai sem hivének benne.
János 7:6 Jesus said to them, My time is still to come, but any time is good for you.
János 7:6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.
János 7:7 It is not possible for you to be hated by the world; but I am hated by it, because I give witness that what it does is evil.
János 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
János 7:8 Go you up to the feast: I am not going up now to the feast because my time has not fully come.
János 7:8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.
János 7:9 Having said these things to them, he still kept in Galilee.
János 7:9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
János 7:9 Ezeket mondván pedig nékik, marada Galileában.
János 7:10 But after his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he went up, not publicly, but in secret.
János 7:10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
János 7:11 At the feast the Jews were looking for him and saying, Where is he?
János 7:11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
János 7:12 And there was much discussion about him among the mass of the people. Some said, He is a good man; but others said, No, he is giving people false ideas.
János 7:12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
János 7:12 És a sokaságban nagy zúgás vala ő miatta.
János 7:13 But no man said anything about him openly for fear of the Jews.
János 7:13 Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.
János 7:13 Mindamellett senki sem beszélt vala nyiltan ő felőle a zsidóktól való félelem miatt.
János 7:14 Now in the middle of the feast Jesus went up to the Temple and was teaching.
János 7:14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
János 7:15 Then the Jews were surprised and said, How has this man got knowledge of books? He has never been to school.
János 7:15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
János 7:16 Jesus gave them this answer: It is not my teaching, but his who sent me.
János 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
János 7:17 If any man is ready to do God's pleasure he will have knowledge of the teaching and of where it comes from--from God or from myself.
János 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
János 7:17 Ha valaki cselekedni akarja az ő akaratát, megismerheti e tudományról, vajjon Istentől van-é, vagy én magamtól szólok?
János 7:18 The man whose words come from himself is looking for glory for himself, but he who is looking for the glory of him who sent him--that man is true and there is no evil in him.
János 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
János 7:19 Did not Moses give you the law? Even so, not one of you keeps the law. Why have you a desire to put me to death?
János 7:19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?
János 7:19 Nem Mózes adta-é néktek a törvényt? és senki sem teljesíti közületek a törvényt. Miért akartok engem megölni?
János 7:20 The people said in answer, You have an evil spirit: who has any desire to put you to death?
János 7:20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?
János 7:21 This was the answer of Jesus: I have done one work and you are all surprised at it.
János 7:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
János 7:21 Felele Jézus és monda nékik: Egy dolgot cselekvém, és mindnyájan csodáljátok.
János 7:22 Moses gave you circumcision--not that it comes from Moses, but from the fathers--and even on the Sabbath you give a child circumcision.
János 7:22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
János 7:23 If a child is given circumcision on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses may not be broken, why are you angry with me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?
János 7:23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
János 7:24 Let not your decisions be based on what you see, but on righteousness.
János 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
János 7:24 Ne ítéljetek a látszat után, hanem igaz ítélettel ítéljetek!
János 7:25 Then some of the people of Jerusalem said, Is not this the man whose death is desired?
János 7:25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
János 7:25 Mondának azért némelyek a jeruzsálemiek közül: Nem ez-é az, a kit meg akarnak ölni?
János 7:26 And here he is talking openly and they say nothing to him! Is it possible that the rulers have knowledge that this is truly the Christ?
János 7:26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?
János 7:27 However, it is clear to us where this man comes from: but when the Christ comes no one will have knowledge where he comes from.
János 7:27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.
János 7:27 De jól tudjuk, honnan való ez; mikor pedig eljő a Krisztus, senki sem tudja, honnan való.
János 7:28 Then, when he was teaching in the Temple, Jesus said with a loud voice, You have knowledge of me and you have knowledge of where I come from; and I have not come of myself; but there is One who has sent me; he is true, but you have no knowledge of him.
János 7:28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
János 7:29 I have knowledge of him because I came from him and he sent me.
János 7:29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.
János 7:30 Then they had a desire to take him: but no man put hands on him because his hour was still to come.
János 7:30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
János 7:31 And numbers of the people had belief in him, and they said, When the Christ comes will he do more signs than this man has done?
János 7:31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?
János 7:32 This discussion of the people came to the ears of the Pharisees; and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent servants to take him.
János 7:32 The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.
János 7:33 Then Jesus said, I will be with you a little longer and then I go to him who sent me.
János 7:33 Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
János 7:34 You will be looking for me, and you will not see me: and where I am you may not come.
János 7:34 Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.
János 7:35 So the Jews said among themselves, To what place is he going where we will not see him? will he go to the Jews living among the Greeks and become the teacher of the Greeks?
János 7:35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
János 7:36 What is this saying of his, You will be looking for me and will not see me, and where I am you may not come?
János 7:36 What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?
János 7:37 On the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus got up and said in a loud voice, If any man is in need of drink let him come to me and I will give it to him.
János 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
János 7:38 He who has faith in me, out of his body, as the Writings have said, will come rivers of living water.
János 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
János 7:39 This he said of the Spirit which would be given to those who had faith in him: the Spirit had not been given then, because the glory of Jesus was still to come.
János 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
János 7:40 When these words came to their ears, some of the people said, This is certainly the prophet.
János 7:40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
János 7:41 Others said, This is the Christ. But others said, Not so; will the Christ come from Galilee?
János 7:41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?
János 7:41 Némelyek mondának: Ez a Krisztus.
János 7:42 Do not the Writings say that the Christ comes of the seed of David and from Beth-lehem, the little town where David was?
János 7:42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?
János 7:43 So there was a division among the people because of him.
János 7:43 So there was a division among the people because of him.
János 7:43 Hasonlás lőn azért ő miatta a sokaságban.
János 7:44 And some of them had a desire to take him; but no man put hands on him.
János 7:44 And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.
János 7:44 Némelyek pedig közűlök akarják vala őt megfogni, de senki sem veté reá a kezét.
János 7:45 Then the servants went back to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, Why have you not got him with you?
János 7:45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?
János 7:46 The servants made answer, No man ever said things like this man.
János 7:46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.
János 7:47 Then the Pharisees said to them, Have you, like the others, been given false ideas?
János 7:47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?
János 7:47 Felelének azért nékik a farizeusok: Vajjon ti is el vagytok-é hitetve?
János 7:48 Have any of the rulers belief in him, or any one of the Pharisees?
János 7:48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?
János 7:48 Vajjon a főemberek vagy a farizeusok közül hitt-é benne valaki?
János 7:49 But these people who have no knowledge of the law are cursed.
János 7:49 But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.
János 7:50 Nicodemus--he who had come to Jesus before, being himself one of them--said to them,
János 7:50 Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)
János 7:51 Is a man judged by our law before it has given him a hearing and has knowledge of what he has done?
János 7:51 Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?
János 7:52 This was their answer: And do you come from Galilee? Make search and you will see that no prophet comes out of Galilee.
János 7:52 They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.
  János 7:53 And every man went to his house;
János 7:53 And every man went unto his own house.
János 7:53 És mindnyájan haza menének.
