  János 2:1 On the third day two people were going to be married at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there:
  János 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
  János 2:1 És harmadnapon menyegző lőn a galileai Kánában; és ott volt Jézus anyja;
  János 2:2 And Jesus with his disciples came as guests.
  János 2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
  János 2:2 És Jézus is meghivaték az ő tanítványaival együtt a menyegzőbe.
  János 2:3 When they had not enough wine, the mother of Jesus said to him, They have no wine.
  János 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
  János 2:3 És elfogyván a bor, a Jézus anyja monda néki: Nincs boruk.
  János 2:4 Jesus said to her, Woman, this is not your business; my time is still to come.
  János 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
  János 2:4 Monda néki Jézus: Mi közöm nékem te hozzád, oh asszony? Nem jött még el az én órám.
  János 2:5 His mother said to the servants, Whatever he says to you, do it.
  János 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
  János 2:5 Mond az ő anyja a szolgáknak: Valamit mond néktek, megtegyétek.
  János 2:6 Now six pots of stone, every one taking two or three firkins of water, were placed there for the purpose of washing, as is the way of the Jews.
  János 2:6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
  János 2:6 Vala pedig ott hat kőveder elhelyezve a zsidók tisztálkodási módja szerint, melyek közül egybe-egybe két-három métréta fér vala.
  János 2:7 Jesus said to the servants, Make the pots full of water. And they made them full to the top.
  János 2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
  János 2:7 Monda nékik Jézus: Töltsétek meg a vedreket vízzel. És megtölték azokat színig.
  János 2:8 Then he said to them, Now take some, and give it to the master of the feast. So they took it to him.
  János 2:8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
  János 2:8 És monda nékik: Most merítsetek, és vigyetek a násznagynak. És vittek.
  János 2:9 After tasting the water which had now become wine, the master of the feast having no idea where it came from, though it was clear to the servants who took the water out sent for the newly-married man,
  János 2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
  János 2:10 And said to him, Every man first puts out his best wine and when all have had enough he puts out what is not so good; but you have kept the good wine till now.
  János 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
  János 2:10 És monda néki: Minden ember a jó bort adja fel először, és mikor megittasodtak, akkor az alábbvalót: te a jó bort ekkorra tartottad.
  János 2:11 This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee and let his glory be seen openly; and his disciples put their faith in him.
  János 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
  János 2:12 After this he went down to Capernaum, with his mother, his brothers, and his disciples, and they were there not more than two or three days.
  János 2:12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
  János 2:13 The time of the Passover of the Jews was near and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
  János 2:13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
  János 2:13 Mert közel vala a zsidók husvétja, és felméne Jézus Jeruzsálembe.
  János 2:14 And there in the Temple he saw men trading in oxen and sheep and doves, and he saw the changers of money in their seats:
  János 2:14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
  János 2:14 És ott találá a templomban az ökrök, juhok és galambok árúsait és a pénzváltókat, a mint ülnek vala:
  János 2:15 And he made a whip of small cords and put them all out of the Temple, with the sheep and the oxen, sending in all directions the small money of the changers and overturning their tables;
  János 2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
  János 2:15 És kötélből ostort csinálván, kiűzé mindnyájokat a templomból, az ökröket is a juhokat is; és a pénzváltók pénzét kitölté, az asztalokat pedig feldönté;
  János 2:16 And to those who were trading in doves he said, Take these things away; do not make my Father's house a market.
  János 2:16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
  János 2:16 És a galambárúsoknak monda: Hordjátok el ezeket innen; ne tegyétek az én Atyámnak házát kalmárság házává.
  János 2:17 And it came to the minds of the disciples that the Writings say, I am on fire with passion for your house.
  János 2:17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
  János 2:18 Then the Jews put this question to him: What sign of authority have you to give us, seeing that you do these things?
  János 2:18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
  János 2:18 Felelének azért a zsidók és mondának néki: Micsoda jelt mutatsz nékünk, hogy ezeket cselekszed?
  János 2:19 And Jesus said to them, Send destruction on this Temple and I will put it up again in three days.
  János 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
  János 2:20 The Jews said, The building of this Temple took forty-six years; and you will put it up in three days!
  János 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
  János 2:21 But his words were about that holy building which was his body.
  János 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
  János 2:22 So when he had come back again from the dead, the memory of these words came back to the disciples, and they had faith in the holy Writings and in the word which Jesus had said.
  János 2:22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
  János 2:23 Now while he was in Jerusalem at the feast of the Passover, a great number of people came to have faith in his name, after seeing the signs which he did.
  János 2:23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
  János 2:24 But Jesus did not have faith in them, because he had knowledge of them all.
  János 2:24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
  János 2:24 Maga azonban Jézus nem bízza vala magát reájok, a miatt, hogy ő ismeré mindnyájokat.
  János 2:25 He had no need for any witness about man; for he himself had knowledge of what was in man.
  János 2:25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
